Anybody know what’s going on with investigations into suppressing conservative voices on online platforms? As others have said, it’s election interference.
The DOJ and many states attorneys general are engaged in an anti-trust investigation into big tech, but:
a) that has fuck all to do with censorship,
b) The tech giants do not fear anti-trust break ups, because there’s not a great argument for that.
It seems like these investigations, if not focused specifically on suppression of conservatives, will just fuzz into 101 other big tech-related issues. (Privacy, advertising, child-safe, taxes)
I’m hopeful but it would be nice to see some habbening.
Considering the ease with which big tech representatives lie to Congress about suppression of conservatives, it is clear that their hundreds of attorneys have told them there is nothing to worry about.
