Snowden let everyone know the NSA was illegally wire tapping all of America and then he was forced to leave the country or end up in prison or worse. That's how I remember it anyway..

There might have been both good and bad outcomes but it is difficult to argue that his actions didn't redpill many about the mass surveillance.

So do you support mass NSA spying on Americans the violation of our 4th amendment (unreasonable search)? I don't get it. It's a surveillance state and you're saying he was wrong to reveal it? If Snowden wasn't a real whistleblower, he'd be treated like Eric CIAmella or however you spell his name

This is just an attempt at revisionism.

Extent of NSA snooping, PRISM, XKeyscore etc were all hidden from public knowledge. Heck Clapper even lied about it under oath. Without Snowden we wouldn't have known about them.

He has sacrificed any chance at a normal life or having a family to let Americans know what their government is doing in its secret dark corners. Sounds like a patriot and hero to me.

You know how you can tell that you are correct and MSNBC revisionism is a blatant lie? Because if "Snowden" had actually tried to "sell" those secrets to either Russia or China:

  • Someone a lot higher up the food chain (like Clinton or Kerry) would've been the ones doing it.

  • And, if Clinton was the one selling, nobody in Obama's anti-American regime would've outed her, since the secrets were damaging to the US.

  • And finally, Snowden's dead body would be reported as an "unfortunate suicide" or "botched robbery".
