There might have been both good and bad outcomes but it is difficult to argue that his actions didn't redpill many about the mass surveillance.

So do you support mass NSA spying on Americans the violation of our 4th amendment (unreasonable search)? I don't get it. It's a surveillance state and you're saying he was wrong to reveal it? If Snowden wasn't a real whistleblower, he'd be treated like Eric CIAmella or however you spell his name

This is just an attempt at revisionism.

Extent of NSA snooping, PRISM, XKeyscore etc were all hidden from public knowledge. Heck Clapper even lied about it under oath. Without Snowden we wouldn't have known about them.
