you can normalize for it. take whites with single parents, Asians with single parents, etc and compare those. the difference in per capita murder rates is still about the same.

now, if you normalize for iq (comparing only high iq blacks to high iq whites) the difference in murder rates vanishes.

iq correlates to murder rates.

now, what the left does is first deny the difference in average iq between demographics, then when shown undeniable proof it exists, they then blame it on diet or culture or something... or even call iq tests racist if it comes to that.

even if we accept every left talking point, and presume iq tests don't measure intelligence and that intelligence is 100% environmental, the fact is that iq correlates with murder rates and some demographics have lower average iq than others.

as an aside, don't bother trying to argue poverty causes lower iq either. again, you can normalize for poverty by only comparing poor people to other poor people, and there is still an iq gap between blacks, whites, asians, etc.

the single parent meme comes from blacks committing more per capita violent crime, and coming from more single parent households, but the correlation vanishes when you normalize for iq.
