That is really interesting to think about. My recollection of the early 90's is that divorce was really exploding, like every school had a bunch of kids whose parents had divorced.

I'm familiar with studies showing that men are happier without women and women are happier with men. What you've described would factually match up with a divorce explosion.

I remember it vividly. In grade school, around the mid-90's, one year, every child in my class had divorced parents. I was the only exception. Funny how Vox doesn't talk about that.
