Running a woman solely because her husband was the president is surely demeaning towards women, right?
Surely there are female candidates who can run on their own success without being bolstered by their marriage, right?
Surely the DNC wouldn't take the position that being a wife alone is a woman's only necessary achievement to be qualified for office, right?
And certainly, if all a woman needs to do in order to qualify for the office of President of the United States is marry the right man, then both women and society-at-large still view her husbands as the source of a woman's value, right?
Unfortunately, a whole lotta republicans in Ariz wanted 'widow's succession' for Cindy McCain. Her appointment became so controversial that they just let her 'pick John's replacement' instead.
Since then, Cindy-baby has gone on to endorse Biden for Prez.
Try Michelle Obama
The irony.
