The "based legal immigrant" is a vanishingly small portion of the total, 80% of all legal immigrants vote Dem for life and want the Constitution gone.
Minorities also vote overwhelmingly for the left (70-90%). There's only one group of people in this country that votes to uphold it in any significant numbers.

Texas has been frighteningly close in several recent elections. Illegals, of course. But also lots of suburban soccer moms from other states wanting to enjoy the low taxes and cost of living Texas affords.
I don't think I have to lay out for you what happens if Texas goes democrat.
I was in Rockport fishing all weekend and was HIGHLY impressed with all the Trump supporters (I live outside Austin) and loved the guy selling Trump flags, deer hides, rugs, and jerky on the side of the road!
Texas has had two Dem Governors since I lived here, and we didn't fall apart. Also, the cost of living here is better than many places, but our property taxes are skyrocketing and not much different than if we had state income tax. The soccer Moms that go to church on Sundays are not as leftist as people think... it's the tech workers brought in from out of state and teachers that are the worst. Also, the rich people who employ illegals at their businesses.
I think that Texas doesn't give all of its electoral vote to the popular vote winner, so that it a big help for Trump no matter what. There was a Republican elector in 2016 that tried to change his vote to a minor candidate. There was no rule at the time to keep him from doing that, but now, they changed it so that you have to declare your party and give your vote to that party after the election.

I have a friend who bought extra "preparedness" to be able to hand some out to like minded neighbors who haven't taken the steps. I applaud this.
