I heard enough stories in my childhood from my Europeans grand parents about ww2 to figure we're not in a stable climate lately.

So all i know is that I'm going to the gym 5 days a week. When it comes down to it that and regular range days will be something you'll be thanksful for and makes most difference when shtf.

If you're out of shape, or plain old fat, and needed some motivation to change it, this could be it. A guy i know just got mugged last weekend for being the wrong color (ie white) and he's definitely out of shape - sadly not an isolated incident.

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
