The Gab federation thing has potential but the convenience of a browser Web page is good too...

We face a major hurdle here: Payment Portals

We cannot do business online without a payment portal, and all current payment portals de-platform us for our political beliefs.

We cannot create a payment portal of our own because the banking system will de-platform us for our political beliefs.

We need our own banks to empower our own payment portal to empower our own decentralized network.

• OR - we need to power our own network with a cryptocurrency like Ethereum. Create something like Aragon, I guess. But unless we are all going to get in on it and keep it growing, it will just fizzle out.

The sad truth is that internet comments are cheap. When it comes time to actually commit to something, most people (including most conservatives, unfortunately) simply won't turn up.

I am all for a decentralized network, especially for business, and I've been keeping my eye on Aragon.org, but there just aren't enough people committed to it (yet) in order to make it viable.
