GA resident here. I'm not too worried because the only way Loeffler survives the 2020 primary is if she's perfect, and the only way she survives 2022 is if she's perfect through those years too.

She will be tested by fire, and if she fails she will be quickly cast aside. Kemp has made seemingly crazy gambles before and won, so let's see if this one pans out or goes up in flames.

I've had similar thoughts, but my feeling is that the whiplash will be nearly instantaneous. Loeffler is going to be primaried this year, and she has to be perfect to survive it and retain her seat. If she doesn't clear the primary, we're rid of her.

Georgia also has a deep well of governor candidates. Personally, I preferred Tippins and he was instrumental in sinking Cagle.

> The whiplash is already here

One afternoon of Hannity does not whiplash make. I agree 100% with your concern, but at the same time I understand how contested this senate seat is: if Loeffler can't survive a single, measly, home-state primary, she was never a fit.

On the topic of impeachment, fortunately even if she voted in favor it wouldn't matter, and if she did the entire state party would be torn down by the public.

For the moment, I will watch and see how this all plays out. Maybe Kemp really does have another incredible gamble that will pay off, or else this is the point where his tenure as governor comes to a close.
