Along these same lines I brought up the Grasshopper and ant fable, and was quickly informed that they teach it to mean exactly the opposite of what they did when I was a kid.

It used to be about the grasshopper not preparing and then demanding the ants help him out, and why you should never be the grasshopper. Now they teach you the grasshopper is an artist, and the ant acts out of privilege.
