There's no such thing as transitioning to a woman. There is only cross-dressing and pretending to be a woman. As long as you are fine with playing pretend, that's ok.

Be honest with yourself and what you like, and what you want for yourself, and whatever you do, don't buy into other people's labels that they literally just made up for their own made-up fictional concepts. It often causes a lot of pain and arguing in sub-communities.
It's also not something you have to turn into an entire lifestyle or base your identity around. Do you need to tell other people your most personal, intimate hobbies? Do you really need to jump in a crowded room and say "Hey everybody, I love dressing up as a woman, please accept me"?
Like, I don't just randomly go up to my folks and say "Hey I'm a huge fucking anime nerd please accept me famtachi".
