Someone pointed this out when Al Gore was touring around on his global warming gambit a decade or two ago and almost everywhere he went it would like snow 2 feet or something and cancel his speaking engagement. The person pointed out that his very name would be exactly what a master novelist would pick for him and the way he is (look up definition of algore).
