Just getting started on this meme style. I'd like to say this was one of Brady's rarest photos, but it just so happened Joe DiMaggio's NY Yankees hat and forehead fit nicely on Honest Abe. I think Joltin' Joe would be okay with it.
Apparently the writing on the hat isn't super visible. You could make it red like those Mark Dice t-shirts, but then it would lose the subtilty.

Unfortunately, he would be at home in the Democrat party of today. The ends justify the means, even if it means WAR and ignoring the Constitution and the spirit of the Declaration of Independence.
I'm not a fan of Lincoln, even if he was very good friends with my ancestor William Clary.
My humble opinion - I don't agree. Democrats were racist then, and racist now - they only changed their favored race. They had slaves then, and they want white slavery now (i.e. reparations).
Lincoln would hate the Democrats of today as much as then. His speeches are rife with mentions of God as well - something Democrats of today think should be illegal.
Well, the banker crowd were the ones that had him assassinated so he definitely had the right enemies (the people that became the globalist NWO crowd we're battling to this day)
In his second term he was going to return the nation back to the Greenback system that his administration devised to fund the first phase of the North's military effort - and bypassed the greedy bankers that wanted to control and issue the money for the war.
So in my book he's stands as okay (my ancestors were on the side of the Confederacy) because at the end of the day, his arch enemies (that killed him) are the enemies of all of humanity - the shadow cabal of the very same kinds of evil people we're battling now
User name not checking out. Lincoln is one of Trump's top two or three favorite presidents. Not that anyone has to "follow the leader," but rather how bad can he be, if he's one of Trump's favorites?
I get the argument that freeing the slaves against the states' will ultimately goes against states' rights; except the states never had any legitimate right to have legal slavery, because crime against humanity. (As Jefferson had earlier said, if a law is unjust, we have not only the right but the duty to disobey it.)
It was known as a crime against humanity back then, too—many great minds like Thomas Paine had issued sustained and bitter railing against and condemnation of the hideous practice, long before the drafting of the founding documents.
Please tell me this is photoshopped. Please?

I agree, and it's beautiful. Strong work!
One might think it was shopped, but no.
Honest Abe was one prescient son of a gun.
Thanks! New extreme meme style. Any suggestions?
Yes. Make more.
Betsy Ross sewing a Trump pic or a lion flag.
I love the Lion Flag idea, especially.

MAGA
lol, I knew it was wrong, but found the wrong spelling looking it up. genuine thanks
edit: looks like the spelling crossed over during lincoln's youth! unintentional subtlety? https://books.google.com/ngrams/graph?content=subtlety%2Csubtilty&year_start=1800&year_end=1900
It's a meme of an ancient photograph. You can't make it too crisp and clear, that would ruin it.
I think it works well enough as is, but maybe a little more contrast wouldn't hurt. Dunno. Pretty sweet the way it is.
Meme extremely.
Of course Abe would be pro trump. Nothing’s changed. Democrats still want slavery and civil war.
Unfortunately, he would be at home in the Democrat party of today. The ends justify the means, even if it means WAR and ignoring the Constitution and the spirit of the Declaration of Independence.

Lincoln was a tyrant

Yes.. can I save this?
Abe knew.
"Don't believe everything you see on the internet" - Abe Lincoln
Haters will say it's fake
Excellent work!
Why is this a meme? It's just a photograph of a president in a hat? Are we going to call every photograph of a president in a hat a meme now?
Apparently some people don't appreciate sarcasm.
The fact you have to put /s on a post for people to know you’re being sarcastic is a sad state of affairs for all involved.
ThePeletonCommercialWasntThatBad
Agreed. My post was added as your "/s" because apparently somebody(s) didn't get that. But for the record: YOU WERE BEING SARCASTIC, WEREN'T YOU? ;-D
CNN: BREAKING: TRUMP'S MEME-TERRORISTS RELEASE POSSIBLY DOCTORED IMAGE OF ABRAHAM LINCOLN; DOJ MULLING CHARGES AGAINST PERPETRATOR
Experts: findings inconclusive; sophisticated software potentially used to deceive public
Old Abe probably got it from Trump while on one of his time travels.
I think this might be doctored!
Weird copyright date proves it!1!
