  • 1/12/2017 - DOJ OIG Announces Initiation of Review

CLIP:

>Department of Justice Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz announced today that, in response to requests from numerous Chairmen and Ranking Members of Congressional oversight committees, various organizations, and members of the public, the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) will initiate a review of allegations regarding certain actions by the Department of Justice (Department) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in advance of the 2016 election.

This was the beginng of the inspection of the FBI's handling of the Clinton E-mail investigation. Note that the DOJ OIG initiated this entire thing 8 days before Trump ever took office, but without time for Obama to react (I recommend looking into the backstory with Horowitz and Obama/Holder).

  • 12/2/2017 - The Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General released the following statement in response to inquiries today

CLIP:

>The January 2017 statement issued by the Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announcing its review of allegations regarding various actions of the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in advance of the 2016 election stated that the OIG review would, among other things, consider whether certain underlying investigative decisions were based on improper considerations and that we also would include issues that might arise during the course of the review. The OIG has been reviewing allegations involving communications between certain individuals, and will report its findings regarding those allegations promptly upon completion of the review of them.

This begins the review into allegations that Trump investigations were based on improper considerations, and a review of communications between "certain individuals" (Strzok-Page?).

  • 3/24/2018 - Findings of Reasonable Grounds to Believe that an FBI Technician Suffered Reprisal as a Result of Protected Disclosures in Violation of FBI Whistleblower Regulations.

CLIP:

>The OIG found that the technician made a protected disclosure, and that, in direct response, SAS 2 threatened to lower his annual PAR rating and deny future requests for TDY opportunities. The OIG further determined that another supervisor (SAS 1) and the technician’s Administrative Officer (AO) were also responsible for the personnel actions threatened against the technician because they were employees who have authority to direct others to take, recommend, or approve personnel actions, and they actively counseled SAS 2 to advise the technician that his disclosure could adversely affect his PAR ratings, and jeopardize future TDYs. The OIG did not find clear and convincing evidence that these threats would have been made in the absence of the technician’s protected disclosures. Accordingly, the OIG concluded that there were reasonable grounds to believe that the technician had suffered reprisals as a result of his protected disclosures.

It is unclear if this relates directly with either the Clinton Email or Trump FISA Inspections, but it clearly has to do with the FBI management that conducted both investigations.

  • 3/28/2018 - DOJ OIG Announces Initiation of Review

CLIP:

>Department of Justice (DOJ) Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz announced today that, in response to requests from the Attorney General and Members of Congress, the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) will initiate a review that will examine the Justice Department’s and the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) compliance with legal requirements, and with applicable DOJ and FBI policies and procedures, in applications filed with the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) relating to a certain U.S. person. As part of this examination, the OIG also will review information that was known to the DOJ and the FBI at the time the applications were filed from or about an alleged FBI confidential source. Additionally, the OIG will review the DOJ’s and FBI’s relationship and communications with the alleged source as they relate to the FISC applications.
>
>If circumstances warrant, the OIG will consider including other issues that may arise during the course of the review.

This officially began the investigation into "Spygate", or the spying on Trump and the "Deep State" (unelected Government) attempt to stop Trump. This is the report due Dec 9th.

  • 4/13/2018 - A Report of Investigation of Certain Allegations Relating to Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe

CLIP:

>As detailed in this report, the OIG found that then-Deputy Director Andrew McCabe lacked candor, including under oath, on multiple occaions in connection with describing his role in connection with a disclosure to the WSJ, and that this conduct violated FBI Offense Codes 2.5 and 2.6. The OIG also concluded that McCabe’s disclosure of the existence of an ongoing investigation in the manner described in this report violated the FBI’s and the Department’s media policy and constituted misconduct. The OIG is issuing this report to the FBI for such action that it deems to be appropriate.

McCabe was the FBIs #1 un-appointed director, meaning he was permanent and stayed from admin to admin. This is an entire Report on him, that came about as a result of the investigations into the Clinton Email and Trump/Russia FBI activities. The report It cites multiple times of ‘acting without candor’, admitted to DOJ Principal Assistant Deputy Attorney General (unknown?) told him to shut Clinton Investigation down, leaked to media, lied under oath, lied to OIG, etc.

CLIP:

>The OIG found that the SA contacted individuals who he either knew were, or had reasonable belief would be witnesses in the criminal investigation and that the SA’s contacts with several individuals appeared to be designed to improperly influence their prospective testimony. Accordingly, the OIG concluded that the SA’s contacts with the witnesses were improper and constituted misconduct.
>
>During the investigation, the OIG also found that the SA divulged law enforcement sensitive information to unauthorized individuals; misused his government issued electronic devices; provided misleading testimony during a related civil deposition; mishandled classified information; misused his position during contacts with local law enforcement officers; and provided false information to the OIG.

CLIP:

>The OIG investigation substantiated the allegations that the SA received gifts, including money and items of value from the CHS, in violation of federal regulations regarding standards of conduct for federal employees and FBI policy. The OIG further found that the SA: continued to use the CHS after the CHS had been deactivated by the FBI; protected the CHS and the CHS’s illegal business; misused FBI assets for personal gain; and committed computer security violations, all in violation of federal regulations and FBI policy. The OIG also found that the SA improperly withheld information related to a state criminal investigation from a local police department, and provided false information to the police department regarding the CHS’s status as an FBI CHS, which actions were wholly inconsistent with the SA’s obligations as a federal law enforcement officer. The OIG also found that the SA lacked candor with the FBI and the OIG, in violation of FBI policy.

It is not clear who this is.

  • 5/29/2019 - Findings of Misconduct by an FBI Deputy Assistant Director for Unauthorized Contacts with the Media, Disclosing Law Enforcement and Other Sensitive Information to the Media, and Accepting a Gift from the Media

CLIP:

>The Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of the Inspector General (OIG) initiated this investigation upon the receipt of information from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), alleging that a then FBI Deputy Assistant Director (DAD) had numerous contacts with members of the media in violation of FBI policy. Additionally, it was alleged that the DAD may have disclosed law enforcement or other sensitive information to the media without authorization. This matter is among the OIG investigations referenced on page 430 of the OIG’s Review of Allegations Regarding Various Actions by the Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Advance of the 2016 Election (June 2018; https://www.justice.gov/file/1071991/download).

  • 8/29/2019 - DOJ OIG Releases Report of Investigation of Former FBI Director James Comey’s Disclosure of Sensitive Investigative Information and Handling of Certain Memoranda

CLIP:

>As described in today’s report, the OIG concluded that the memos were official FBI records. The OIG determined that Comey violated applicable policies and his FBI Employment Agreement by providing one of the unclassified memos that contained official FBI information, including sensitive investigative information, to his friend with instructions for the friend to share the contents of the memo with a reporter. Additionally, the OIG determined that Comey, while FBI Director, kept copies of four of the seven memos in a personal safe at his home and, after his removal as FBI Director, violated FBI policies and his FBI Employment Agreement by failing to notify the FBI that he had retained them, or to seek authorization to retain them. Comey likewise violated applicable policies and his FBI Employment Agreement by providing copies, following his removal as FBI Director, of the four memos he had kept in his home to his three private attorneys without FBI authorization. Comey also failed to fulfill his obligation to immediately alert the FBI about his disclosures to his private attorneys once he became aware that the FBI, after Comey’s removal, had determined that one of the memos included several words, the names of foreign countries being discussed by the President, that were classified at the CONFIDENTIAL level.

This proved that Comey did in fact leak, and it was in fact illegal.

- My Personal Key Takeaways -

  1. Every report says "prosecution was denied". While this may seem discouraging to many, it tells me one important detail. Horowitz is recommending prosecution.
  2. Despite McCabe's report saying prosecution was denied (as the others do), charges still moved forward and he just lost his appeals in September 2019. This tells me "prosecution was denied" because the DOJ iss working on their own cases.
  3. McCabe's court proceedings have taken place is secrecy, outside of the most recent leak of his appeals loss with the US Attorneys Office. This, despite McCabe being a known leaker (as shown above) and literally working for CNN atm. This is likely to be the case with all of them. Grand Jury's and court ordered secrecy, where we wont know anything until it is over.
  4. The time Between the McCabe Report and the denial of appeals was from April 2018 to September 2019. Based on this, we should expect that cases against others will take just as long simply to get out of the appeals process. These things will take time. Do not expect cuffs on day 1 or even day 100, but do not let that discourage you that the information revealed if being used in the courts...

What did Grassley request in his letter? Can't remember all these investigations. Is that what Huber is doing?
