I grew up Protestant, went to Christian pre-school, Catholic high school and then went go Jewish college. I've read all the major religious texts and after years of liberal schooling I lost my faith, and fell into nihilism/agnosticism.

Lately, I have been so disgusted with the decline in morals in this country (hormone blockers for kids, late term abortion, the DNCs corruption) that I genuinely am starting to believe evil and the devil actually exist.

I cannot fathom a reason as to how people can push this crap other than that they are corrupt and evil. Soros and the liberal power brokers are the devil incarnate, leading a flock of sheep with false promises.

God bless America, and God bless Donald J. Trump he is battling toe to toe with evil.

I have a very very similar story, the schools and reading major religions and even seeing the inconsistencies within Christianity. Although I never stopped believing in the greater good and even prayed to myself regularly I completely stopped going to church. But wow have my eyes been opened. Satan is everywhere, and its SICK. Trump saved our country and our souls.

Going to Catholic school during all the previous sex abuse scandals really drove me away from institutional churches. Not to mention the vast amount of capital the Catholic Church is sitting on that they could use to solve the world's problems.

I also just thought that there are so many religions that it would be impossible to select the right one. At the time I thought to myself, "Why argue over who's imaginary friend is real"

At this point I still feel that way, but I do believe there is a God and while I'm not following any strict doctrine, I am going to a non-denominational church. My philosophy at this point is "Be kind, help others when possible and treat other people the way you want to be treated". I feel like if you live a good life, God won't care if you called him the wrong name or didn't know which version of him to follow.
