I had a good chuckle and I appreciate the sentiment behind this but "let's GIVE them guns" is totally contrary to the attitude of the founders. "Let's not impede their natural right to self-defence and, if necessary, rebellion" isn't nearly as pithy though.

"Oh, let them keep their guns, cannons, and warships, too!" Would work.
Agreed, its a good chuckle but I wouldnt show this to any anti-gunners as it is easily interpreted in their favor; and not as intended.
