Is this where we're at, that it's victim blaming or something to tell people to not lie?

Interesting since it shows Nadler had prior awareness that these witnesses would be lying, and was a participant (ie skipping the swearing in) in enabling such. Evidence like that ought be interesting to a potential impeachment hearing against Nadler wouldnt you say..

It's all so outrageously blatant, almost maniacal, like they're foaming at the mouth in the backrooms feverishly inventing crimes and twisting laws--activist "lawfare" in its most insane cornered rat mode--anything, ANYTHING to GET TRUMP. You'd think their lives depended on getting him out of office (and in a real sense they do). It's like this is their death-throes, a final lashing-out. So I hope.

Nadler is the new McCarthy, as Joel Pollak points out. He gives my favorite example so far of twisting rules and shitting on due process:

"When Republicans objected to Berke’s (the Dem counsel's) comments about Trump’s alleged motivations, which are forbidden under House rules, Nadler said that House rules did not apply to witnesses. But when Republicans asked why Berke had not, therefore, been sworn in, Nadler said that Berke had appeared as a staff member, not a witness."
