I’m always surprised to find out just how stupid the government thinks it’s citizens are.

Removing the text layer from their output PDF allows them to redact elements like the stuff on page vi of the Executive Summary, with no hope of recovery. For security they deliberately reduce it down to an images-only PDF file.

That makes them have to re-OCR the whole thing, with all the errors that inevitably show up when you do that. And nobody proof-reads the resulting new PDF text layer.

Thus, "FBI Director Corney."

That's actually hilarious.

I'm sure the document change log will be traced back and somebody will have some explaining to do. I mean accidentally changing one comey to corney is believable, but changing the entire document?

https://www.onelegal.com/blog/how-to-make-a-pdf-text-searchable/

OCR’d or “made-searchable” PDFs: Image-based PDFs can be made text searchable via the application of optical character recognition (OCR). During the OCR process, characters and the document structure are “read.” As a result, a text layer is added to the image layer. Such documents become similar to “true” PDFs — though, depending on the quality of the image, or the recognizability of the writing, may not be 100% accurate.

This is bullshit. This isn't a document that was scanned in using optical recognition. This was produced electronically directly from a publishing program.

Search for "Simpson" and "Sirnpson" and see what happens. Or any other word with an M in it.

Gobberwarts 3 points ago +4 / -1

Then why does the document SHOW "Comey"?

4
HorribleDeplorable 4 points ago +4 / -0

The display data and search set must be different. I'm not a pdf wizard but it was obviously tampered with.

The display data is created first. Then the document is run through an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) program. This creates a searchable index of the document.

Instead of believing in nefarious actions, why don't you tell us all what possible gain could there be from someone doing this intentionally?

How about thwarting a search? ICYMI, Comey doesn’t show up. Corney somehow does. Who searches for James Corney?

Who doesn't read an entire document if one intends to understand it?

It has been shown repeatedly that humans dont do that. And now we have search functions and computers....

CoMey morphs to CoRNey but AttoRNey stays AttoRNy. On the very same line.

The 'm' in "Comey" doesn't look a thing like the 'm' in "former".

What's to gain? I have no idea but, man, it sure looks deliberate.

Gobberwarts -1 points ago +1 / -2

WHY is it deliberate? WHAT is the fucking gain? There is NO BENEFIT to making this change intentionally.

2
HorribleDeplorable 2 points ago +2 / -0

So it doesn't show up in random internet searches for Comey, obviously.

Conservativechick 3 points ago +3 / -0

A good comparison is the word "some" same ome letter sequence - it appears 371 times with no problem. I'd say this tampering was deliberate.

I thought it was spelled commie

The writers are getting lazy in this simulation.

I'm still waiting for them to do Elmer Fudd in his hunting cap and sporting his shotgun, peering into a wabbit, er, rabbit hole and - to the tune of Pink Floyd, musically asking: "hewoa, hewoa... is daya anybody in daya...?"

God they think we're stupid.

good catch pede, the F.I.B. has zero credibility and certainly NO INTEGRITY. (download the pdf file and search the document offline, i found 148 instances searching for corney, i found 0 instances searching for comey). Let's see if the deep state corrects their error and what version of this report is referenced in the historic record for future searches.

This should be the shit that wakes up normies. The amoumt of forethought that went into that, and the motives behind it....losing faith in humanity fast

I don’t know how the connection hasn’t been mentioned - but a Q post called him James 8 Corney back in March.

You don’t accidentally write RN instead of M. The Q post very deliberately did that.

Now months later we have an offical DOJ document with a weird error calling him James Corney - but NO other RN/M errors. Just his name. Appearing in the PDF as an M rather than the RN ctrl F views it as.

That’s not weird at all. . .
