Great info. It is a bummer. It's already a shell of its former glory. Probably the most valuable repository of information in the world. Wikipedia aint gonna show someone how to put brakes on an 89 f150. Real info people use. Searchable and vast.

Commercials have made it a slightly but understandably less enjoyable experience. The nicest part of not having commercials, creators did videos more purely motivated. I'm sure they were hoping for a profit or recognition of some sort but they weren't playing some analytics game and tailoring content to adhere to some narrow data goal. It was a different product and maybe what i view as peak tube'.

Lately obviously full corporate. Rec's and searches too. Sure most have noticed but when you do a search you can never seem to scroll to those everyman vids. They start out with corporate and you can scroll and scroll but all it will do is eventually repeat. RIP
