A few decades ago, if a whiny, teen-aged high school dropout opined that some country violated kids' rights, SHE would have been told to sit down and shut up.
Can someone explain to me - with little words - how we got to the point where the adventures of a CHILD with a developmental handicap and a bad attitude can be presented as "NEWS"?
Are the publishers of such "news" so immature themselves that they actually think this is newsworthy, do they believe that the world would be a better place if its leaders suspended their goals to appease a loudmouthed kid, or are they just doing their best to stupefy people in an effort to implement the New World Order?
Anyone who seriously wants to reduce CO2 emissions will build nuclear power plants. Anythkng else is ridiculous posturing.

Remember, the media doesn't give a shit about children; their 'rights' to this or that; economies; successful, well-fed and happy citizenry, or any of the things that contribute to peace, stability, optimism and confidence in the future.
At this point, they don't even give a shit about profitmaking. They've gone all-in on pushing their agitprop of revolution, deconstruction, CRT (Critical Race Theory), and a new dark age eclipse for the west.
Actually, although I can't admit to understanding much of what passes for normal these days, I think profit is a motivator. By my thinking, the people pushing this crap have been convinced (or more likely convinced themselves) that those trying to establish a global government (with themselves on top, of course) will reward them for their efforts, rather than enslave or eliminate them.
You're thinking about the cringing, wannabes who're desperately trying to brown-nose, and ingratiate themselves with the power elites, who they think'll allow them into the top circles when the revolution comes.
However, I'm talking about the media, which doesn't give a shit about the righteousness of whoever's in power, so long as they get to continue being the middleman 'brokerage firm' that maintains them there. And, you misunderstand the nature of leftism if you think this about money or profits.
The left doesn't understand money any more than they understand math, since feelings and irrationality undergird their actions. This movement cannot be about monetary profit, since everything they own will be confiscated and distributed to 'more deserving' demographies. No, these asskissing virtue signallers are hoping for a place at the adults' table. Political profit, not monetary, is their goal.
I think we're at the 'toMAYto' / 'toMAHto' argument here. Political profit IS monetary, and intentions don't define profit.
