Russia has the 2nd most nukes and we should be weary of them. However, they have the GDP of Italy and have almost zero power projection. They provide no threat to the US, or to Eastern Europe at all other than nukes. The DNC media hypes Russia to scare their audience, but its all just an act to take advantage of the gullible.
Fun fact, the only drydock in Russia capable of servicing their aircraft carrier sank in October 2018. Russia attempted to purchase two helicopter carriers from France a few years back since they no longer have the ability to construct anything larger than a destroyer, but France sold them to Egypt instead.

With respect to the media hyping Russia, that is in order to deflect our attention from China, who is not only a valid threat to us in the next couple decades, but is the only largely Communist power left on earth, and thus the last great hope of our media.

They are decrepit, dilapidated, largely defunct.
