Ameripede here. “Chuffed” is britspeak for “pleased. “

Congrats to you and your fellow UK Pedes for once again defeating the commies.

Thank you.

It is amazing, they have just taken Redcar from Labour. I cannot stress how working class and northern Redcar is! Should have been in the bag for Labour!

Some bloke on another forum was saying how Brexit was going to lead to more empty factories and more poverty. Better free and starving than living under Sharia.

57
brsmith77 [S] 57 points ago +57 / -0

Nah, that is utter bollocks. We didn't starve when the Luftwaffe was bombing us 24/7 so I think we ll survive this.

When you Brexit, you can count on a nice trade deal with the USA.

Congrats! Epic win for sure. Now make Boris keep his word on Brexit. He's a bit flip floppy from what I've read.

The news are talking about "The extinction of the Labour party"

34
butt 34 points ago +35 / -1

And that’s what I call a “good day.” Congrats again to you my friend!

SteelDriver 7 points ago +7 / -0

That would be too good to be true. :D American media does the same thing after every election ("<insert losing party here> is now a dying regional rump party."; more so after Republican losses than Democratic, of course). Don't worry, they'll survive and be back for the next fight before you know it.

NostalgicFuturist 3 points ago +3 / -0

Some are saying the same for the Democrats, and it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of traitors.

Now keep going and BREXIT! Then get something done on FREE SPEECH! Getting locked up for tweeting is pretty tyrannical!

MAGA Trump 2020

40
brsmith77 [S] 40 points ago +40 / -0

Yup. I am planning a petition to Boris. Nigel is talking about needing a British Constitution and I fully agree.

Need to get big hitters like PJW and Sargon on board to get it out there. Maybe even see if Big Don will tweet about it. That would be awesome.

congrats. I hope you guys actually get your country back and are able to leave the EU

Well for a start there will be no more of this obstructionist BS from parliament, Boris will have the numbers to do pretty much what he likes.

What we the people need to do now is put pressure on him regarding freedom of speech and a bill of rights. Nigel is on board with this and a few well placed petitions need to be done.

Other than that we will get sensible conservative policies generally as there is now no need to appease the lefties in parliament.

Corbyn will be gone and his commie mates have been seriously weakened. Hopefully the Labour moderates will smell blood and take their party back, signalling a strong turn back to centrist policies.

0care 16 points ago +17 / -1

bit of a double edged sword? The commies are easier to beat in an election?

25
brsmith77 [S] 25 points ago +25 / -0

Yes, but you HAVE to defeat them. While I wouldn't want another Blair it would not be the end of the world. A commie takeover though? Yeah, they would not leave power willingly.

There was a brief squabble a while back, but since then Yanks and Brits have had the closest of ties. Even now, with multiculturalism trying to destroy our two Anglo-Saxon-derived cultures based on such fascist principles as individual rights and the rule of law, trends in both countries are moving along the same track. The Far-Left Dems and their divisive identity-politics are destroying themselves, and those who survive will have to swing back to the center.

brsmith77 [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Brief Squabble? I prefer to think of it as a friendship forged in flames, tempered by the fire to be stronger than steel.

NostalgicFuturist 2 points ago +2 / -0

Noble eloquence, sir or madam, I doff my tricorner hat to you.

This is why you should always get out an vote like your life depends on it...becuse sometimes it does!

We just rejected a Marxist, terrorist loving POS and I am so proud of my country men and women.

Now. Lets get you BritPedes your goddamn firearms back. Freedom.

7
CheeseyCentipede 7 points ago +8 / -1

So what's up Britpede? How'd the election go? You guys any closer or do you have to start hangings to make it happen?

11
brsmith77 [S] 11 points ago +11 / -0

Went rather well. Best result for Tories since 1987 under Maggie.

Huge overall majority for Boris. He is no longer vulnerable to parliament interfering. BBC on suicide watch and Labour in total disarray.

10
EpicTrump 10 points ago +10 / -0

I hope our 2020 election will have a similar outcome for the Democrats. Congratulations on getting the votes needed to get your Brexit! I hope President Trump makes a great trade deal with your country now.

11
brsmith77 [S] 11 points ago +11 / -0

I ll be up all night watching that one too, just like I was in 2016.

I think Trump has got it in the bag. A lot of Americans must be absolutely furious with this illegal coup attempt.

IcculusBased9 8 points ago +8 / -0

Yeah, we're about to start breaking shit.

7
Saremei 7 points ago +8 / -1

The Brits are a bit of a "canary in a coal mine" for us. Brexit happening there made me hopeful for trump in 2016. This result in britain could well signal our triumph in 2020.

So on both sides of the pond, what is feeding the Labour/Democratic insanity? Is it fake news, indoctrination at schools, not enough struggles in youth, echo chambers?

We need to cure the disease.

2
brsmith77 [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Soros, Marxists, Self hating white Liberals.

Marxist indoctrination in schools and colleges is the NO 1 issue we face in both the US and UK. It must end. We must weed them out.

Chuffed to bits? Are we talking about watches now?

Ok, caio!

I am happy to see the UK making such a strong statement for their sovereignty. It's so funny to see the liberals going all crazy over there like it's the end of the world when in fact it seems like the financial markets are celebrating the certainty.
