Was so great to see all the support for us based Brits fighting for our country. Make no mistake this election was do or die. If we had failed it would have been a communist takeover of the UK and the end of our democracy as we know it.
I have always loved and admired your country and always will do. I look forward to cheering for you in 2020. Winning is the only option.
God save the Queen and God bless America.
Its pretty daunting to think democracy means that at any given time, any country is a single election away from communist takeover, tanking economies, food riots and lawlessness, but here we are.
The Brexit vote prior to the 2016 trump election seemed to me like a fait accompli but here we are at the tail end of 2019 and it hasn't happened - you need to hold Boris to this commitment the same way that the repub cucks in the US were pressured to conform to Trumps agenda.. or made to leave to make way for reps who are on board.
Congrats and best of luck in keeping this fight going!
We will win. Communism is like a fever on a population. The Eastern Europeans have gone through it and are immunized. The rest of the West never really got the full-blown flu.
Best analogy ever.
I doubt Poland will ever fall for that suckerbait for at least another 100 years, maybe longer.
I mean, they are bound to market a new strain if they lose often enough.
There are many examples of this in history.
For instance, the Korean War and Vietnam War were similar in a lot of ways (Communist north, capitalist south), many people don't understand the reason for the different outcome. One reason you hear a lot is that South Korea had sea to its west so it was relatively easy to defend against infiltrators, whereas Vietnam had remote mountain ranges which are perfect guerrilla country, and that's basically what the Communists used to subvert South Vietnam.
There is another important difference though which the media never talks about. In the Korean War, North Korea actually almost won in the beginning, it successfully took over like 80% of present day South Korea. And North Korean rule was so harsh and repressive that the South Koreans who went through it became among the most virulent anti-Communists in the world. There were mass arrests, show trials, propaganda, gulags, the whole deal and this all happened in just a few months in the areas the DPRK army had taken over in 1950.
When Macarthur outflanked them at Incheon and basically crushed the North Korean army completely, the South Koreans mostly greeted the UN armies as liberators because, and this is the point, they had actually EXPERIENCED COMMUNIST RULE. There is nothing like ACTUALLY living under communism to cure you of communism forever.
