Poll numbers have gone through the roof in favor of No Impeachment, especially with Swing States and Independents in Swing States. Many voters are "Trump Democrats" who support Trump even if they disagree with the Republican platform. They voted for him in 2016 while still going Democrat in the 2018 midterms.

Democrat politicians are showing them that a vote for ANY Democrat is a vote to remove Trump from office. Not a very shrewd move.
