Point being, it's never too late to lose track of what got him elected and return to losing election after election by supporting George W Bush/McCain/Etc political policies and 1990's culture war bullshit. If it looks like the call to truly unite this country (regardless of sexuality, race, gender, hairstyle, etc) behind a strong border and end to wasteful global wars...then many people will lose faith and the strong horse aspect will abate.
