This dipshit goes full-on ranting and raving the next time I see him, as if I dunno ...I was an actual racist! Too familiar, I guess. What a drag. But, wtf? If I was racist against Hispanics why the fuck would I be hanging out with this cunt to begin with? Meh.
I feel much better here in Portland. Texas in general wasn't really my 'scene' anyways. I love the geography, believe it or not, but so little public land and the 'no-holes-barred', balls out, authoritarian criminal justice system just creates a huge class of violent gangsters and, basically, narcos from relatively small drug infractions.
Anyway, after years of flinging my ass out of the state, being homeless, wandering, living in the rough, ending up back in Texas, bought a home and watching the value plummet as poor black people from inner East Austin were displaced due to gentrification sold their homes for profit and moved, voluntarily, to northeast Austin...causing our property to go underwater and be surrounded by just... fucking... ugh. Fixed 'er up. Finally sold to a nice AA couple.
Austin was too tense and ...busy. Everyone trying to show how smart or creative or badass gangsta they were. Just fkn gross. Buncha try-hards in my slacker opinion.
So now, for the first time in my life I was living in a metro around...ta-da!... mainly white people! Yeay! My people! Which turns out to be fkn hilarious because I was like, "ahhh, finally I'm going to be around my own people! Woo hoo! No more racial bullshit! First time in my life! Vanilla City, here I come!"
A year later and I'm like, "these mfers arrogant and dumb as fuck! :/"

...I think it's the sheer variety and diversity of drugs that's done it. I enjoy a smoke and the occasional trip as much as anyone but 50-75 years ago it was rare for heroin or cocaine to be found outside the major urban centers. Maybe some funny tobacco. Mainly alcohol. Even that, though. Now it's meth, benzos, bath salts, kratom, cocaine, heroin, 3-Methylfentanyl, dozens of other opioids, like a hundred thousand new drugs since the 1950s, and a few dozen big ones being discovered every decade. It's disgusting and a smorgasbord of filth, addiction and misery in most metro areas. Chemistry has changed everything and not for the better. Mexico has been turned into a meth lab.
