I think the biggest cause of economic ignorance, is a bunch of leeches, who have no clue how money is earned. They don’t know how much money, effort, and time it takes to make money. They think the government is a magical money making machine, like a unicorn that poops an endless supply of free cash. They don’t know that bloated government salaries, and every single thing the government doles out cash for, ALL comes from the taxes taken from working people.

Can you imagine paying that much taxes then having stupid poor people talking shit about you non stop. They contribute very little to society and almost nothing to the tax base.

Can you imagine paying that much in taxes, and then supporting a political party that wants to make you pay more?

Pathological altruism is the slow death of the West.

This chart really says it all.

After all the deductions, CPA tricks, etc.... those who make more end up paying a share of taxes far disproportionate to their share of income. This also happens on the state income tax side and of course property taxes.

Our high earners are not paying their fair share - they are paying significantly more than their fair share.
