NRA strangely silent on the 2'nd amendment attack in Virginia

As a longtime NRA member I shocked and disappointed in the lack of information I have received from the NRA regarding what is going on in Virginia. It seems like I receive weekly NRA Alerts on everything else going on.

Threats drum up $$$$$ for the NRA. The NRA loves it when the 2A is in imminent danger.
