He was compromised before that. Remember the way he botched Obama's oath of office? That was no accident, IMO. Then they redid the oath IN PRIVATE. Who knows what Obama actually swore to uphold.
I never heard that but looking through 2019 eyes it sure makes sense. I'll have to read up on it now

The following link includes videos of both the original botched version of the oath as well as the redo the next day. I was not aware of the existence of the video of the 2nd oath. But apparently it was done correctly that time. In the 1st oath, Roberts not only talked over Obama, but he also said "President TO the United States," which caused Obama to falter, not knowing whether to repeat what Roberts said or say it correctly. I don't know what was happening with Roberts, but he had one line to read and he totally flubbed it.
