Let Virginia be the warning to every gun owner in America. If democrats get control again the second amendment will be under the worst threat in our nation's history.

The same people that use violence, intimidation, open borders, lawlessness, needle exchanges are coming for your guns next.

Make no mistake, that's exactly why you have guns. If you're not willing to do what Needs be done, then just turn them in, for you truly don't need them

If you think it’s time you should need to bury your guns, then it’s actual the time you should be digging them up.

It bears repeating

WE NEED OUR GUNS

IN CASE THE GOVERNMENT COMES AFTER OUR GUNS

Yawnz13 -1 points ago +2 / -3

So I guess you don't need your guns then.

Isaiah53 37 points ago +37 / -0

We need to back up Virginia from the start, or it will quickly spread.

This citizen disarmament test run is the Constitutional line in the sand. It doesn't get any more real than this.

If confiscation goes down need to to target the politicians and gun control supporters as well

If you support unconstitutional laws and confiscation your a enemy of the American people

EscalatorSavior 9 points ago +10 / -1

I've been saying this for a while. Get the politicians' addresses and smite them to the last person. Buy the ticket, take the ride, fuckers.

ProudAmerican 4 points ago +7 / -3

Who needs a list when they’re all the enemy?

2
50pointsahead 2 points ago +3 / -1

Still wondering why people give Ruger their money even after Bill Ruger supported mag cap limits etc. The only reason he backed off is because people back then had the balls to tell him to fuck off to somewhere else if he didn't like American freedoms.

Ruger makes nice firearms and mags, but get them second hand.

2
ronburgandy 2 points ago +2 / -0

Because Bill Ruger is dead and his children are now running the company and actually supply 30 round mags to everyone who asks.

2
50pointsahead 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ah, I didn't know Bill was dead.

Back to you, Ron

EscalatorSavior 8 points ago +9 / -1

I think we should not be leaving it to individuals to fight them, case by case. If this shit actually starts, we need to organize and FUCKING LEVEL any police station or National Guard post that is sending forces. Burn the fuckers to the ground, because they are treasonous and are not our countrymen.

6
Hoot 6 points ago +6 / -0

Really? Name one time when the leftist authoritarians realized their ideas were stupid and backed down.

30
Spall 30 points ago +30 / -0

It's not just guns, they are after our right to self defense with sb88, 1 year mandatory prison for any discharge of a firearm in a building with people, 3 years mandatory for malicious intent, like shooting at someone in your home.

Submit to the government, it knows best.

30
Barbieblonde 30 points ago +31 / -1

Virginia is banning firearms training too. Teach your kids to shoot? You are now a felon.

Deplorable_in_PA 11 points ago +11 / -0

Confiscation is a non-starter. I really don't see local LEA and VA national guard willing to put their resources and officers on the line to enforce Gov. Coonman's dictates. Coonman is full of shit if he thinks people in VA will meekly comply with his stupid laws.

Even non gun owners...imagine if your neighbor had an AR15, kept is locked up, only took it to the range, was otherwise law abiding, etc. Would you really be happy to see armed agents show up to his house and get into a shootout with him? What if your kids were playing outside? Or if he had kids? Or see armored vehicles driving up your street to disarm him?

My concern is the never-ending raft of gun control laws. Ammo taxes, gun violence taxes, special licensing, lawsuits against gun companies and retailers, eroding carry laws, mag capacity bans, etc. Or death by a thousand cuts.

2
flashersenpai 2 points ago +2 / -0

People are more meek that you think they are. People couldn't have been purged to the gulags if the default state of people was to strike out.

2
Deplorable_in_PA 2 points ago +2 / -0

Perhaps. But even if they get 90% compliance that's still 250,000 gun owners. And I have yet to see any of the states that have tried crap like this get anywhere close to even 10% compliance.

2
OhLollyLollyPop 2 points ago +2 / -0

This is true. People just ignore it.

1
OhLollyLollyPop 1 point ago +1 / -0

Only about 30% of the citizens participated in the Revolution.

11
11
CovfefeNegro 11 points ago +11 / -0

That's absolutely correct, 'shall not be infringed' may not be ignored simply because some local/state government passes an illegal law.

Marbury vs. Madison, everyone needs to remember that and cough it up at every instance of gun grabber noses poking under the tent.

No government agency may infringe, not even Congress by itself. Only through Constitutional Amendment may our gun rights be molested, no agency has authority to infringe.

Passing illegal laws only marks a government as corrupted and tyrannical, illegal in and of itself, demanding overthrow by the People.

3
Marshall 3 points ago +4 / -1

Marbury vs Madison was a power grab by the Judiciary and led to the implied rights and living Constitution that turns the original intent on it's ears. That is not the case you want to cite to retain your 2nd Amendment rights.

7
loveandchill 7 points ago +7 / -0

Got a better one?

1
OhLollyLollyPop 1 point ago +1 / -0

Heller?

6
CovfefeNegro 6 points ago +6 / -0

I would argue the notion Marbury is evil. Marbury suffices to strike down illegal law, it is not a perfect theoretical case to preserve our separation of powers but it suffices, I think.

Which one do you like better?

10
ShellGame 10 points ago +14 / -4

Please consider the virtue of properly burying some of your guns.

Also, don't forget how many of your guns were lost in a finish accident.

11
Phil_Selway 11 points ago +11 / -0

If it's time to bury them, it's time to dig them up and use them.

ShellGame 1 point ago +2 / -1

Not everyone are as heroic as they believe they are.

For example, if police came to your door and demanded to search your property for guns, there's a good chance you'd just let them in, rather than shooting them all.

It's easy to be a keyboard warrior / internet tough guy, however that rarely translates to the real world.

2
Phil_Selway 2 points ago +3 / -1

Not everyone is a coward.

-1
ShellGame -1 points ago +1 / -2

So your plan would be to shoot all the police?

Why not use mixed martial arts kickboxing too?

Don't forget to get chased down a corridor by a fireball and have a fist fight while hanging from a helicopter while you're at it!

/s

Never have I seen so many keyboard warrior internet tough guys.

1
OhLollyLollyPop 1 point ago +1 / -0

All of those things would also be banned by the Virginia laws.

1
ShellGame 1 point ago +1 / -0

There's a Virginian law against being chased down a corridor by a fireball?

Source?

1
Phil_Selway 1 point ago +1 / -0

Good ideas! I'll take them into consideration.

But who are they [totalitarian Democrats] going to send to confiscate them?

There are not enough police and vast majority (all of them) of police men and women want to go home to their families at the end of the day.

Probably most of them would not be very enthusiastic about trying to strip their fellow citizens of their constitutional rights and have to engage in firefights with them to do so. Is their paycheck really worth that in the end - as well as being viewed as the very worst kind of traitor by their fellow citizenry? Most police (except those in the most corrupt blue cities) are not likely to even follow through on such orders - why not just quit and go look for employment in a better place?

The Democrats in Virginia think that the National Guard is going to do their bidding. That's even way more problematic (for them) than mobilizing the police to do their bidding.

Military personnel all swear an oath to defend the constitution from both foreign and domestic enemies. In this case it's crystal clear that the enemy to the constitution is a domestic one - those that are out to take away constitutional rights of citizens.

Many (probably most) NG are going to be some of the very citizens that these tyrannical Democrats are out to target to strip constitutional rights from. (Yeah, sure, mobilize the National Guard and issue them all M-16s. Heeh, heeh...)

So really, if they try to get the Virginia state National Guard to turn on fellow citizens, what is more likely to happen is that the rank and file (and probably even the top level command) will side with the citizenry at large. Sure, arm them all up with M-16s - that would be great!

In fact, I suspect that top level command structure of the National Guard would go to Pres. Trump and ask him to intervene by nationalizing the Virginia National Guard and thereby preempting the governor's authority over them. That would be the logical thing to try and contain things from getting messy, so to speak. They would be rational and understand that carrying out these confiscation orders is shear insanity. The Democrats, being died-in-the-wool communist ideologues, are very short on having any actual sanity. They are basically sociopaths mentally disconnected from the real world.

So their [totalitarian Democrats] only plausible option is to bring in foreign military to do their bidding. That would so not be a very smart thing for them to try and do. (Massive understatement!) That would galvanize a vast swath of the American people completely against them instantly. Plus would give Pres. Trump a pretext to use the US military to go in and arrest them all.

2
Deplorable_in_PA 2 points ago +2 / -0

Even non gun owners would have a problem with this. Imagine having armed military personnel in armored vehicles patrolling your neighborhood looking to get into shootouts with your neighbors. That wouldn't play over well at all.

2
flashersenpai 2 points ago +2 / -0

Okay, but who's going to volunteer to be in the shootout with cops? Almost nobody.

1
OhLollyLollyPop 1 point ago +1 / -0

Trump needs to disarm the Virginia National Guard. The message their Commander put out was not encouraging for citizens' rights (see Breitbart). It is also posted on Twitter. The SCOTUS will have to rule on this, and stop states from taking away citizens' rights.

Hispanics and blacks aren't going to give up their guns. They keep them even in gun-free places.

3
AlohaChris 3 points ago +3 / -0

Without violence, laws cannot be enforced, and if a law cannot be enforced, the law means nothing.

These are not just “anti-gun” laws. The Democrats are threatening to do violence and inflict injury and death upon the citizenry if we do not kowtow to them and become their slaves.

People are saying “1776!”, and they’re right. King George wishes he had the type of invasive control these people are seeking over the body politic.

Tens of thousands of Patriots will rush to Virginia to help those people.

A state democrat suggested that the governor (blackface man) call in the National Guard to enforce state-passed "gun control" legislation in counties that have declared 2nd Amendment sanctuary status.

God fucking damn it. What part of "Shall not be infringed" is so hard to understand?

This shit cannot be allowed to happen. If we as a country keep letting them get away with these infringements, no matter how big or small, we might as well just turn over our guns now, cause unless we draw a hard fucking line that cannot be crossed, we've already lost!

I don't know what the right answer is to stop this, but for the sake of liberty this shit needs to stop!
