If it gets to the point that you need to bury your guns, you'll be buried alongside them anyway. Might as well go out with a bang and make it difficult for them.
70+ years ago, when FDR and Churchill agreed at Yalta for Stalin to grab almost half of Europe (with a smile on their faces), many of those tens of millions of people subject to the deal were also armed. Not to US level, but still. Also, they were those having ancestors fighting islam for 800 years often living in slavery in conditions worse than any black slave had in US. Older ones steeled in WW1 and/or WW2 taking the brunt of losses, and with relatives exterminated by communists in occupied lands following German-Russian deal prior to WW2.
In just 10 years, all guns were seized. They took people, tortured them to death until they spilled the beans on others, and in short time almost everyone surrendered their guns in fear for their families lives. The few who did not were hunted down after years of real resistance in the mountains, often betrayed by pond scum which now is so much common.
They did not had REGISTERED arms at that time, dum dum. And no online fingerprint, which you have plenty. Unless you're living in a fucking forest with zero internet posts, searches or orders re guns, paying for unregistered items with deer liver, learn something. Your big mouth will count zero against 4am 20 armed goons visit, so take care not go to that point and react before it. Got it? Guns are for use, not for hiding. You already lost at that point.
How can you use them to protect yourself if they are buried? They are meant to be used, as tools. They are not collectors items. This is what the 2A meant kids.
ps For those with a long game plan, bury some and have some available. Same with ammo. I'd suggest a vacuum sealed airtight container for extended usable life before "burial."

Wrong.
You won't know it until it's too late.

No rational person is burying REGISTERED arms.
I hope this BLATANT slap across the face helps you understand the context of this post.

Allow me to explain:
First you dig them up, as needed.
Then you shoot.
You are welcome.
Why bury them in the first place?
I'll be a first waiver. I am too old to play the long game. Perhaps my sacrifice will buy the long gamers time to organize.

Sadly, mine are at the bottom of a lake. Lost them in a boasting accident. All of them.
They might get dirty. Molon Labe.
