We're a widely mixed family - combos of 4 races total - so I obviously have no "problem" with mixed race relationships, but it's just - weird - that you don't see White people portrayed realistically any more.
Hallmark is for old ladies with cats, like my wife. I can't stand to watch their saccharine formulaic melodramas but to each his own. There's almost always a gay moment in most commercials if you watch for it.
Good for Hallmark now if they'll just move their manufacturing operations back to America they'll really be setting the bar high. I hate seeing every one of my collectible ornaments with Made in China on them when I know they make enough profit off of them to build each one on the moon if they wanted to.
plus all the actors they employ and the production locations are Canadian
so there' not much American about Hallmark - but they have tended to have a pretty high level of morally passable content production compared to all the other networks
