We are not dependent upon the President for this. This is publicly available for those who want to do a little digging. See, for example, opensecrets.org.

Also, I have to wonder about the family of politicians. Joe Biden's brother, for example, may be Joe Biden's real ethical problem.
The point is that if the president tweets it, everyone will see it. The media and democrats will shit their pants and, like everything else they do, make it even more visible to everyone.
