If you read the bill markup carefully, it isn’t about firing law enforcement officials who refuse to enforce gun control laws. It's changing the law to allow government workers who aren’t law enforcement to go on strike without fear of termination.
Nothing changes for law enforcement officers. The bill only removes other government workers from being prohibited from striking.
