My theory...The Dems do not want it to pass the house because they are scared to death of a Senate trial where we can call witnesses and expose their corruption. They already have Lindsey ready to vote it down without calling witnesses, but he will be under pressure to call some. So, the Dems on the down-low are asking the 30+ representatives from Trump districts to vote NO. This keeps it away from the Senate and the Dems can just poo-poo these representatives as having no backbone. This continues to give them their talking points and removes the Senate trial risk.
