If this happens, there will be people from around the nation flocking to Virginia. They would easily get hundreds of thousands, Americans are not fucking around anymore

buco 1 point ago +1 / -0

That leads to my question, do you have to live in that county to join their militia?

You understand that they can, and will, restrict cell towers for government use only?

In a shtf situation, you need to be prepared to abandon all modern tech. They'll even jam all civi frequencies if you happen to have radios handy.

The arab spring scared the hell out of the elites and they've put every safe guard they could against it happening again.

Nothing enrages people more than taking away the internet.

-1
Redmoon -1 points ago +1 / -2

Cell phone networks are totally compromised and can also be shut down during civil unrest.

Absolutely do not rely on cell service to mobilize and coordinate.

If you don't have tactical / orginzational level experience you should probably shut the fuck up and find people who do and pay attention to what they have to say.

Mama don’t take no mess! This is a perfect example of our strength, right here. They don’t even know the numbers we have. They can’t imagine how hard we will fight for our families and property. They probably only bargained on the papa bears. Wait’ll they get a load of the mama bears.

Do you also support stopping and reversing the demographic trend that has led to this? Gun rights are a uniquely American thing and inviting non Americans into your country leads to this

Dragon-Energy 37 points ago +37 / -0

As a cop who can’t post on Reddit because people are always trying to doxx me..... I’m on board with the people on this one. I’m not going door to door to take your guns and most of the cops in the country have the same attitude.

The biggest problems gun owners face are the legislative efforts to pass red flag laws and other such “public safety risk” laws. Many states now have “extreme risk protection orders” or something to that effect. Basically your wife, co-workers, kids, uncle, or whoever, can call the police, claim that you’re dangerous, get in front of a judge, and pitch their “I’m afraid of him and he has guns” speech. That judge can, without any deliberation of a jury of your peers, issue an ERPO that requires you to surrender all firearms you own and bars you from buying new ones until your case is settled in court. Failure to comply is against the law. This sneaky shit is where they are going to get owners. Not kicking doors with the national guard.

7
NonyaDB 7 points ago +7 / -0

Yes, and stupid red flag laws are what's going to lead to lots of people "disappearing" once some folks find out that they have exactly two options against a hateful, vengeful person who threatens to red flag them:

  1. "Disappear" the person who would red flag them before they can do so.
  2. The cops confiscate all their firearms forever.
Thanks, "victims" - you played yourselves.

Respectfully over 90% of the counties are with you. Trump can give new orders to the guard. There are not enough State Troopers to enforce.

Looks like the Governor can sign laws that don't mean sh*t. I look forward to resolving these issues in the courts.

Additionally, they do other shit to financially ruin you. Like issuing $1000/day fines before foreclosing on your property and threatening your employer, thus getting you fired.

What are all you Militias going to do with all the Deep State Mutual Fund investment clubs in Virginia? They don't just make money off of arms deals and Google IPOs, they set up the US Taxpayers to pay the bill.

Because most people are stupid about local politics. they don't recognize that the old adage "all politics is local" has been turned on it's head in the 21st century. Right now "All Politics is National". If you aren't paying attention to your local race then you aren't paying attention to ANYTHING. And too many people aren't paying attention.

This is too true. I went to a school board meeting about rezoning here in Richmond. I was the only one there that threatened to move my family if they passed “integration” and there were outright white apologists and cultural marxists by the dozens getting up there and speaking. Some of the craziest shit I’ve ever heard. I have never been to a public forum like that. It would have baffled you all if I had recorded and posted it. Scary shit vilifying the middle class white patriots.

It's called "The education system". You know, that thing that the Boomers allowed lefties to take over back in the 1970's?

Now, in fairness to the Boomers, it had been happenning for some time prior to that, but the 60's massively turned up the heat and the Boomer generation flamed out on protecting this institution from infiltration. My generation, the Xers, was the last to get a quasi "proper" education. From that point on it was all propaganda all the time.

Get a grip on the educational system and you can fix the voting problem.

Also, going back to a more "originalist" understanding of voting rights would help too. (You can only vote if you own land or, to update it for today, own a business as sole proprietor.)

Because most people are too busy posting pictures of their dinner or their boobs on fb. Nothing affects them until it affects THEM.

mastayoda420 4 points ago +4 / -0

This happened because Bloomberg dumped hundreds of millions into the Democrats in Virginia to push this legislature through. Which is why we need reform and restriction on people donating money to politicians outside of the districts they live. Let the people being represented fund their choice, AOC couldn't even earn 2k in donations in her district she exists because wealthy California liberals are spreading their money around. Only 10 people in her district donated to support her.

This. All it takes is for the Sheriff's to draw up a "posse" consisting entirely of the local militia members and a phone roster is created along with a "backup" consisting of a pre-designated CB channel(s)/amateur radio VHF freq(s) everyone should monitor for certain code phrases and pre-determined courses-of-action to take upon hearing said code phrase.
Back all of that up with a generator-powered SHTF emergency siren.
Done properly, with practiced with irregular drills and any attempt by state forces to "invade" a county to remove the local law enforcement and/or it's law abiding citizenry will be quickly met with overwhelming force.
And God help anyone trying to attack Virginia's western hill country. That region is a deathtrap for an invading force.

2
weholdthesetruths 2 points ago +2 / -0

This seems kind of stupid to me and is reflective of people who don't understand how the law works. All you need, guys, is literally one person to be personally affected by an unconstitutional law in order for them to gain standing in an appellate court wherein said unconstitutional law will, most likely, thanks to the DC gun ban ruling of what...2008? be immediately struck down and completely unenforceable.

That said, what police officer, solider, or national guardsman would EVER follow such an order as to disarm American citizens? Nobody knows the importance of such weapons more than those people. You'll never find a more pro 2A group than them. You wanna make a friend with a cop and rarely if ever get a speeding ticket again? Get your CC and hand it to a police officer with your license whenever you get pulled over. The fucker will probably invite you over for dinner.

All this "lets form a militia" shit is crazy, guys. Please fucking stop.

I don't want bloody revolution in the streets, but if that's what it comes to, then Virginians need to not stop till the governor hangs in the street as a reminder to all future politicians.

Read it and weep! The Constitution is pretty clear, and I don't need a law degree to know when it is being violated ...the Constitution of the United States of America is the binding contract of the People's agreement to be governed. You violate it, you lose the consent of the People, and the authority to govern!

I spent my youth certain that the most probable way my life would end would be in a nuclear exchange with the Soviets. The farthest thing from my mind was any possibility that it would end in my own neighborhood at the hands of my own government. Times change.

There are lots of abandoned mineshafts in Arizona, and from time to time visitors who disappear are found at the bottom of one.
