Senate trial rules are different than Senate parliamentary rules. There is no filibuster. It's a simple majority vote for procedural issues, but a 2/3rd vote for conviction.

Schumer wants to call new witnesses. Today, McConnell said: Democrats had the chance to make their case in the House, and he believes they didn't succeed. But, he isn't going to let them go on another fishing expedition in the Senate.
