The House sent a turd of a case for indictment to the Senate and they know it. Schumer immediately made a list of demands for McConnell knowing full well that it would be dismissed out-of-hand. Now, Schumer has claimed that the Senate trial is rigged before it has even begun. Today he slanders Senate Republicans as partisans incapable of carrying out a fair trial.
I think that the House majority is going to vote to impeach the President and then not send the case over to the Senate for a trial under the guise that the Senate is too partisan to be trusted with this grave and solemn responsibility. They’re going to break tradition and precedent, yet again, by keeping the Senate from throwing out the trial.
Or I could be completely wrong and Cocaine Mitch slaps that shit clean out of the senate as soon as it’s presented to him.

if they vote to impeach then the Senate has the obligation to pick it up. the house doesn't hand deliver it. Senate has to pick it up and do the trial or forfeit their right to do so, in which case the house ruling stands unopposed.
we want them to vote to impeach. the Senate trial will be their worst nightmare. trump can call any witness and introduce any evidence for his defence.

It doesn't matter that facts vindicate their President over and over again, what matters to those playing this game is that they have something to run in the news.
Personally I'd love to see it go extreme, either flat out reject the Impeachment for failing to meet past impeachment proceeding decorum, the "Grown Ups" in the Senate basically sending back the homework assignment to the House and saying "do it right and then you'll get credit." That scenario, or complete and total acceptance of the impeachment proceedings to coincide with arrests of those meant to testify: so that it can be read into the record that the people meant to give witness in the impeachment are in custody and accused of all the same crimes they've attempted to pass off on Trump.
Either way the press will continue to play along with the Dems to make this farce seem credible. Even if that means inciting liberals to trash their own neighborhoods like always happens.
