Conservatives (or really just anti-left in general) are being throttled and censored on all social platforms. And Reddit’s CEO is absolutely right. Social platforms can sway opinions and elections. They have and they are.
Quarantined and banned in Reddit, banned or shadow banned onTwitter, hidden from Google search results, “fake news” censorship on Facebook, “fact check” thought-policed on Instagram, the list goes on.
It is systematic censorship by leftists on the most popular social platforms that act as today’s “public square.” If the media did their jobs, with integrity, this wouldn’t be as much of a problem. Unfortunately, mainstream media is also full of leftists. They only report things that further their side. There is an extreme lack of curiosity when it comes to anything detrimental about liberals, but a rabid willingness to present rumor and opinion as if it were fact when it comes to Trump.
We are essentially fighting our battle of ideas uphill, in the mud, with makeshift weapons, and one hand tied behind our back.
But we have one thing on our side that they don’t. We actually care about this country, and the understand the principles that make it what it is. Never stop, they cannot silence is all. Keep America Great.
