From what I've heard. the House cannot hold the articles of impeachment indefinitely. Maybe two months but after that, Cocaine Mitch can demand that House relinquish the case to the Senate.
If the House does not provide the articles of impeachment, Pelosi can be charged with contempt (or obstruction?) since the Senate has control over impeachment. Not the house.
