Serious question: would Hornberger stand a chance against the deep state? If he didn't fold immediately what experience dies he have winning this sort of war?
Trump fought governments to get his stuff built. And now we see how effortlessly he has the left manipulated to destroy themselves.

Hornberger is definitely a man of integrity. Trump seems to think he can fix these organizations (CIA, FBI, etc...) If he wanted, Trump could disband them. But he doesn't. These are the things that baffle me about Trump. Why would he put someone like Wray in charge of the FBI? There were a million better choices, but he picks Wray, a deep state stooge. I just don't get it. Hornberger is running (at least in part) on abolishing these deep state agencies altogether. I personally think that is really the only solution.
