Bloomberg blowing smoke.

Constitution does not define impeachment as either a process or a vote.

And it does not say how the House Impeachment charge get transmitted to the Senate. It merely says: "The House of Representatives .... shall have the sole Power of Impeachment." That's it.

Nothing about impeachment managers.

The House has the power formally charge the POTUS with one or more of the four impeachable offenses: "Treason, Bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors". None of these offenses are detailed in the House Articles of Impeachment.

Consequently, it appears the House has no grounds for impeachment; the Senate could reject out of hand as unconstitutional referral.
