I broke no rules, and did nothing wrong. I asked a female co-worker out on a date, something I was specifically told as a new hire was allowed and they had no rules prohibiting it. Fast forward a few months later, and I get fired for it. Even though, by their own admission, it was not against any rules they fired me because I "made her uncomfortable" when I asked her out. Typical feelings over facts bullshit. It apparently doesn't matter that I broke no rules. Meanwhile, there was much worse shit going on like the guy I personally reported 4 times for racial slurs. He still has a job. I reported him 4 times, he got 4 warnings. I got fired on the spot for something that wasn't even against the rules. Between me getting fired over that and all the shit lately with the dems guess who I, a person who has never voted a single time in my life, will be voting for in 2020?

I know it sucks. I am sorry this happened.I always make it a rule not to shit where I eat. Nothing worse than having a nasty break-up and be stuck working with someone who is your ex.

Personally I have never had an issue with such things. I'll probably adopt such a rule, not for the possible break-up, but for the possible firing if she decides I'm not her type. You know, instead of just saying "no" like a normal person.

I’ve never understood that shit/eat thing. WTF does shit have to do with dating?

Oh ,dude. Been there and it’s like pulling teeth to get anyone to listen or be on your side. Honestly, you should just treat all chicks like cancer and just avoid that shit. Even if not at work, this is the type of chick you are dealing with for the rest of your life. I mean, there might be some really nice lady ‘pedes out there, but don’t even pretend to find one at work.

Edit: I got fired when a chick was ripping into me over the schedule with the worst names. I said! “Ok toots”. That got me fired for sexual harassment.

Yea, definitely learned my lesson. If I'm gonna ask someone out, wait until I know for sure they aren't insane first. I asked her out, she said no, and I thought that was the end of it until 10-15 minutes later I'm being sent home and fired.

Just sue them. This is a She said, He said. You won't want to work there again (she likely is a cheaper employee), but you need to file a discrimination complaint with every place you can in your locality. Don't forget the BBB either.

Get a lawyer. That is retaliatory for you reporting the other guy.

Do you live in a Right to Work State? If you do, you may not have much recourse. Unless, you can prove some form of discrimination might have taken place against you.

I work for a large corporation, and we have to take a unbiased training course every year. What a freaking joke it is. It basically comes down to the point, that, you can be biased against another person, even if your actions were not intended to be that way. It all comes down to how the other person perceives your actions. Not how you intended them.

For many years now, I have lived by the motto, that, I never date someone I work with.

Having been around for quite a few years, my guess, would be, that, you ticked off someone higher up in the company, (You may not even know you did it). And they were looking for a reason to get rid of you. Believe me. I see it everyday in my line of work.

The things I have seen people can get a way with is amazing. And then someone does something so simple, and they are gone.

If you truly believe you were wronged. You should contact your states Labor Relations Board and see what they have to say about the issue. Or an attorney.

There is always one thing I tell new Employees. And that, is, to document everything. Never leave out any detail either. No detail is too small when it comes to proving your side of an issue. Especially, if, it is an issue with a member of management. Believe me, they will always have the upper hand. Unless, of course, you have documented any possible problem, or problems.

Always.....CYOA.

The only recruiters I've bothered to talk to in the last month have gotten the first question upfront :

"I voted for the President of the United States and will do so again - does that pose a problem for you"

Of course the responses have been fine but that's because I've been talking to gun-releated companies - so your millage may vary. I see a bright future for guns. Been moving my professional support interests in that direction.

My motto is, never shit where you eat. Never, ever get into relationship with anyone at your place of employment. I'm sure you can cite hundreds of examples of beautiful relationships. But, when or if that shit goes south, it can get ugly quick. Don't do it kids.

That sucks, but it sounds like you need some better understanding of what is going on.

  1. Never date at work.
  2. Ignore people who tell you it is okay to date at work.
  3. Go to r/TheRedPill to learn the truth about intersexual dynamics.

The difference between you making a woman uncomfortable or flattering her is her impression of you. She was communicating to you exactly how she felt prior to you asking her out, you just misread the signals.
