These Democrats better realize our Military is not their personal police force. They are going to fuck around and find out the Military hates them and is just waiting to use some training to nuke their Commie asses.

This is a great point. I also believe that the NG, although officially remaining PC with their statements concerning the rumors, knows that fighting goes both ways. Bullets sent at your head by men in jeans and sneakers can kill you just the same.

They'd better realize that America isn't their personal playground/litter box.

I have a friend who is a retired army lieutenant colonel asked why I needed an AR15 and what would an AR15 do against his military and their equipment. My response to him was "who's going to be driving and flying that equipment when 80+% of the military is on my side"? He looked at me like he never even considered that option.

I would also point out that no American on either side is going to stand for an AMERICAN Abrams tank just strolling down an American street.

You wanna unite the country do some stupid thing like try to use the armed forces on American soil.

Hmm! I may be wrong, some one check for me, but did we not use tanks at Waco, or some such place? And I recall tanks being used during the Anti War Protests of the 1960's Nothing got united.

Having lived thru the Era you write of; I agree they were mad &tc., but not united. Let me hoe thru my memory. The Black Panthers, The Black Communist Party, and perhaps a dozen more. They did not get what they wanted, in circa 1960, a Black HomeLand in America. Instead, they got Integration, at the point of a National Guard Bayonet

1
Yawnz13 1 point ago +3 / -2

They did, as Koresh had stated that he had weapons capable of destroying unarmored vehicles and Bradleys. Nevermind the meme that is Waco and how ridiculous it is to compare that to the current issue.

We_Are_Inevitable 3 points ago +5 / -2

We never even needed boots on the ground to win any war in the middle east, but we follow some bullshit rules of engagement coupled with 'hearts and minds' campaigns that it hamstrings our full war footing potential.

2
CQVFEFE 2 points ago +2 / -0

No shit.

Smartest, quickest, cheapest, safest way for our troops is: to totally demolish the enemy with no concern whatsoever for "collateral damage" or any of that bullshit. You show the enemy that you are crazy, you mean business, and all niceties and caring and humanity and love for the innocent are safely hidden away under lock and key right now.

If they think you CARE, they will be emboldened and take advantage. Once they know you don't give a fuck and will wantonly erase them with fire, once you show them unambiguously who is boss, that's when they get scared and start listening to the boss.

Then, once unconditional surrender is achieved among those still living (say, in about two weeks), we use a tiny fraction of the money we would have spent on playing footsie for 20 years to rebuild them a little and help them see the light of not fucking with us ever again, or they'll get fucking annihilated again.

NEVER ENGAGE IN A FAIR FIGHT.

INSTEAD GO IN WITH OVERWHELMING, TOTALLY UNFAIR ADVANTAGE, AND USE IT TO COMPLETELY MELT THE ENEMY AND THEIR HARDWARE AND INFRASTRUCTURE, AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. JUST OBLITERATE AND GET THE FUCK OUT.

1
We_Are_Inevitable 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yup. I'm all for dropping absurd amounts of leaflets informing the population of EXACTLY what is going to happen if they do not redress their government.

When they don't, start vaporizing one city per week and dropping more leaflets on the next cities telling them of what's happening and which city was just vaporized. It won't take long till their military realizes if they don't turn on their government then all their loved ones are next.

When they realize they will be vaporized and there is literally nothing they can do about it to save their lives and the lives of their loved ones other then turn on their government it turns into a great motivator to turn on their government.

It would cost far fewer lives overall to vaporize a medium city or two then to start a long drawn out ground war that's going to see those cities shelled into husks with mass deaths anyway. At least being vaporized by a nuke is far faster a death then being firebombed and burning to death or starved to death.

Japan was well on it's way to losing even before the bombs were dropped. We burnt Tokyo to the ground with simple incendiary munitions.

If the military is forced into using armoured vehicles, the battle's already lost. Guns and stuff are meant to force the establishments' hand into a lose/lose. Even if the military is called in, it's a Pyrrhic victory at best. Either the people get their victory, or all isburnt until all there's left to claim is a kingdom of ash.

Problem is, not everyone thinks like us and order would break down quick

The Guard cannot legally disarm us, only idiot leftist politicians think that is a Thing.

20
BeMyFren 20 points ago +21 / -1

Idk about that. Remember Hurricane Katrina? The guard sized a bunch of law abiding citizens guns because of the Patriot Act.

3
Yawnz13 3 points ago +7 / -4

Do you have evidence that it was "the guard", or was it local LE? You know, actual evidence? Not "I had this buddy and he said" or "eyewitnesses said" or whatever.

Some faggot on the reddit T_D tried this same argument and could only produce a 2 minute video where "the guard" was shown doing nothing but moving tree limbs and walking around. All the people entering houses were cops, and no evidence of gun confiscation was even in the video to begin with.

4
Paco 4 points ago +4 / -0

Did you notice the name of the author of this article? Sgt A. Murica.. Sounds legit to me

3
BeMyFren 3 points ago +3 / -0

It was the guard with what little law enforcement stuck around. I remember because I lived around Nola for about a decade.

We got video evidence or orders floating around?

-2
Yawnz13 -2 points ago +2 / -4

It's worth less than a turd in a windstorm. No video evidence of NG entering houses legally occupied by the residents to confiscate guns, no orders to do so, nothing but nutless "But I heard" or "But I saw" Eric "Hearsay" Ciaramella bullshit.

2
-2
Yawnz13 -2 points ago +1 / -3

Notice how the NRA seems to paint a different picture than what you're claiming? The article doesn't even reference the National Guard at all. The article makes explicit reference to local PD and Federal agents, not NG.

I'm still waiting on folks to show me where the cops started confiscating guns in CT and NY after both states passed their "assault weapon" registration laws after Sandy Hook.

3
datawarrior 3 points ago +3 / -0

First of all, I didn't fucking "claim" anything. I just did a couple google searchs and posted links. Take the fucking stick out of your ass over it or take a chill pill. Jesus Christ. Quit being such an insufferable cunt.

3
Quietam_Unum 3 points ago +3 / -0

The old lady who was beat up (dislocated shoulder, two broken bones) in the post-Katrina video was savaged by CHiPs. They imported cops from out of state to disarm people.

Afghanistan 2.0: The Virginia Monologues

Our trained, PROFESSIONAL military can't root out some rock dwellers in the absolute shithole that is Afghanistan - they've been trying for damned near two decades. Do they really think that a handful of soyboy leftist weekend-warriors are going to root-out patriotic Virginians from the forests?

c'mon... first gun-shot in their general direction, they'll blow out their undies in panic.

0
Yawnz13 0 points ago +2 / -2

Only because the military is hamstrung by pointless ROE. We fought a similar campaign against the Japanese, only that time we were allowed to use flamethrowers on their cave complexes and bomb entire cities.

Such actions wouldn't be HURP DERP AFGHANISTAN 2.0" because it likely wouldn't even happen in the first place.

My fine Representative in Congress:

> Furthermore, Gerry ["Fat Cat"] Connolly said:

> “I would hope they either resign in good conscience, because they cannot uphold the law which they are sworn to uphold, or they’re prosecuted for failure to fulfill their oath. The law is the law. If that becomes the law, you don’t have a choice, not if you’re a sworn officer of the law.”

He hopes Guardsmen will resign so that Democrats can replace them with MS-13 thugs who will do what they demand.

"Oh, look... new guns!"

12
Cutter 12 points ago +12 / -0

I think he was implying that the sheriffs and other lawmen should resign, but conveniently overlooking the fact that THE U.S. CONSTITUTION IS THE HIGHEST LAW OF THE LAND.

1

Pretty much every survey conducted about the political leanings of military members show conservatives/Republicans have a 2:1 presence over liberals/Democrats. Even then, I'd wager a lot of "conservatives" aren't exactly the survey taking type when it comes to questions involving politics, money, and property.

3
PEnjab94 3 points ago +3 / -0

Probably a litmus test to start civil war...sorry most police, fire, military, and legal gun owners support the president or at least won’t turn on their countrymen for a bad and unconstitutional reason. Test failed and hopefully VA voters who did not vote republican will learn a lesson.

2
lady_bake7 2 points ago +2 / -0

Do you want an entire National Guard armory emptied of weapons and equipment that will disappear among the local population? Because that's that's the kind of thing that makes it happen.

2
Ockoson 2 points ago +2 / -0

I fear that these gun confiscation laws are playing out exactly as planned. Unrest will spread in Virginia and once the first shots have been fired there will be a "random" armed incident in or near DC, resulting in marital law being declared. With "rioting" in the streets it will provide the perfect cover for a full blown coup of the US government.

For the Virginian government to openly announce that it plans to engage and disarm it's citizens, it has sought a corse of action that is quite frankly suicidal. US citizens are the most heavy armed population in the world. The US has a volunteer military and civil law enforcement agencies not a conscripted army or secret police (not sure on the last point).

If this growing issue in Virginia is any indicator of the insanity that is to come, leading up to the relocation of President Trump, may God have mercy on us.

I was in the National Guard.

A soldier can refuse an unlawful order. If this situation happens, most probably will.

The soldiers also swore to uphold and defend The Constitution. Most probably will.

The national guard is typically not issued live rounds during crises, after the Kent State shootings in the 1960s. I don't think the remaining soldiers would want to go around disarming the populace while unarmed themselves.
