Nah my dude. There are some that, proven through history, have yielded a great net positive for humanity, and some that have yielded a great net negative.
I grew up Christian, broke away from it and became agnostic asking God how can I believe him if I cannot see him in the physical world. It took time, but he showed me that he works through higher dimensions, which affect the seemingly random perturbations we see in quantum mechanics. And he is a God of love. Perhaps I am wrong, but my experiences tell me that I am not.
