Instead of letting every third world idiot who hates America into the country, maybe an immigration system that only allows people in who share our values and aren't looking to destroy America would make sense? Patriotic Americans have been a tiny portion of NYC for at least a generation. Most seem to identify themselves primarily by ethnicity or national origin first, many disdainful of America itself outside of the financial opportunities.
