This is nothing different than the utopian housing projects of the 60s and 70s, which gave us crime-ridden dens run by drug lords with conditions that almost immediately (within 5 years) deteriorate to squalor. There were examples in almost every major city. Cabrini Green in Chicago, Fisher in New Orleans, etc.

All the same buzzwords from the 60s. “Mixed income housing” etc. Every one was a boondoggle.

It. Doesn’t. Work.

Like socialism, this has already been tried. It failed so spectacularly that most cities have razed their housing projects as abject failures. And enter a new generation of liberals who, completely ignorant of history, propose the same failed solutions.
