Remove the abuse of the welfare system and put those dollars toward rebuilding the community

If only there was some way to encourage blacks to gentrify their own communities without the need of white people moving in to clean up the filth.

Paying blacks not to trash their community goes against treating everyone with equality.

Edit: Ha ha - our mods fixed the quote style. Very nice!

Yes, if residents are law abiding and self sufficient they can build their way out of the need for tax dollars at all. I’m not opposed to helping those that are really incapacitated and revitalization of certain areas will be a necessity, but only as a means to an end.

I still think if you spent oceans of cash to clean up all the filth and repair all the damage, the locals would just trash everything again.

Detroit has been turned into a 3rd world country, mainly because the locals dump their trash in the street and allow their homes to fall down and rot, whereas most of that disgusting waste could have been avoided if home owners just painted their homes once every five years and cleaned up after themselves.

I'm not sure how you get African Americans to care for their community. And before people start REEEEEEEEEing, what I said is fair because there are plenty of other countries where locals have far less, yet their communities are far nicer.

I've traveled extensively and seen Nepalese businessmen emerge from buildings made from scraps, looking awesome in their suit and tie and polished shoes. And those dwellings looked awesome too, even the dirt floors are swept and the streets are clean and paved.

I've seen Tibetans in Lhasa who have nothing, yet their communities were safe, clean and beautiful... and I've also worked for the New York Police Department where every black we arrested for stealing designer clothing or candy or beer, had a $1000 smartphone in his pants.
