Ex Attorney Sessions has to take a bid slice of the Blame for this whole debacle. IF Sessions had of nipped all these investigations in the bud to start off with America may not if had to go through 3 Yrs of wasted time.

These men are paid to use the tools provided to them to protect the swamp. Running out the clock is the easiest method.

Or, maybe the opposite, it actually takes a long time to dismantle a conspiracy of massively complex proportions!? I'm pretty sure in three years of a Trump presidency (with all the sandbags attached) they're making very good progress.

If you had sent Top Secret Sensitive Compartmentalized Information and Special Access Program documents to your maid, enemy nations, ISIS and who knows who else, you'd be in jail the same day.

This shit does NOT take this long. Just look at Manafort, Stone etc. That's how quick they can move when they want to.

I get it. You're not happy with the progress.

But both of your examples are an individual who is not part of an extremely complex and powerful network. It's the same reason why organized crime, unions and especially church crime goes on for decades un-prosecuted. In the case of religion (like politics) you must prepare for angry NPC's who will get violent when their leaders are "wrongly imprisoned".

Everything I'm seeing is steady forward progress that will lead to victory.

Well, at least you didn’t say “The wheels of justice, something-something.”

Thanks. I definitely want progress too. But taking down the deep state is more important than throwing a few publicly known figures in prison. We want fatal strikes that simultaneously leave as little social upheaval as possible. It's a tough task and remember Trump is the outsider who has to build and exercise power strategically.

Sessions turned the case over to the IG knowing they have no prosecutorial powers. That move alone wasted lots of time.
